CellSearch® CXC Kit *
|
|
The CellSearch® CXC Kit enables the immunomagnetic selection of rare circulating
epithelial cells (CTCs) from whole blood and the characterization of user-defined
markers with low antigen density (~50,000 antigens/cell). The CellSearch® CXC Kit
reagents include a cytokeratin-fluorescein/CD45-Allophycocyanin (APC) leaving the
Phycoerythrin (PE) channel of the CellTracks Analyzer II® open to incorporate a
user-defined PE-conjugate to further characterize the CTCs. This kit configuration
allows the user the flexibility to study low-density markers of interest on CTCs.

CellSearch® CXC Control Cell Kits *
|
|
The CellSearch® CXC Control Cell Kit contains single-use bottles of fixed cells
from a breast carcinoma cell line (SK-BR-3). A CellSearch® CXC Control Cell bottle
is substituted for a patient sample to verify the performance of the CellSearch®
CXC Kit reagents, sample processing by the CellTracks® AutoPrep® System, and cell
analysis by the CellTracks Analyzer II®. The cells are a single level population
and differentiated as control cells by the detection of fluorescence in the control
channel of the CellTracks Analyzer II®.

Instrumentation Requirements for the CellSearch® CXC and CXC Control Cell Kits *
|
|
The CellTracks® Autoprep® System is used to standardize and optimize the sample
preparation protocol for use with the CellSearch® CXC and CXC Control Cell Kits.
Analysis and enumeration of CTCs and control cells are performed using the CellTracks
Analyzer II® with Linux Operating System.
