Veridex, an innovator in the field of rare cell analysis, offers REPEAT-FREE™ (RF) POSEIDON™ FISH probes. By combining the advanced performance of REPEAT-FREE™ technology with Kreatech Diagnostics proprietary ULS labeling method, new RF POSEIDON™ probes offer the next generation of FISH probe performance by eliminating the repeat sequences. With the introduction of these probes, the use of Cot 1 or blocking DNA is obsolete. This results in probes that are brighter and have a clearer background yielding enhanced signal to noise ratio. Signal to Noise Ratio in comparison to standard probes today is 1.5 to 3 times greater.
Traditional FISH is very time consuming with standard hybridizations being on average 16 hours in duration. With the use of RF POSEIDON™ FISH probes, hybridization times may be cut 75% to 4 hours. This hybridization flexibility coupled with the probes being available in a ready-to-use format eliminates time consuming steps and optimizes workflow.
